The site also contains a search engine that enables specialists to find currently running trials in Belgium for which their patients may be eligible. Each trial is clearly described, from its objective to its setup, and inclusion and exclusion conditions are also mentioned. Certain trials involve innovative therapies and gene therapy. The database is also accessible to patients who can search for trials to which they may be eligible.
