Kinda Khuzam

Graphic designer

I’m Syrian, and I have lived in Amsterdam since 2014 together with my husband and our 1 year old son. At Ariez, I work as a graphic designer, and I enjoy working in such a nice and cozy atmosphere with friendly colleagues. I graduated as an architect engineer assistant in 2002 in my country Syria. I always enjoyed drawing, working with photos, and matching colours in every detail in my life. So, I thought that graphic design could be interesting for me. I did some private courses in design programs such as Photoshop, Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator and I have worked in this field for around 7 years.

Besides graphic design, I have a passion for media. I have worked as a radio presenter and script writer. I also have skills working on audio editing programs as Cubase (recording, mixing, and sound effects). Here in the Netherlands, I first studied the Dutch language, and subsequently I did a DTP course in which I learned more professionally how to use my creativity.

I’m a hard working person, people always describe me as a fighter. I am very social and have good skills in communication, organizing, and management. Furthermore, positivity is my strength. In my free time, my favourite activity is being a mom and spending time together with my lovely son and my husband. In addition, I like walking, listening to music, travelling, exploring other cultures, photographing, watching movies, and finally singing in choirs.
